A strange case came into light in Mumbai where a man forgot to wish his wife a happy anniversary, the in-laws beat him up. A 27-year-old Ghatkopar resident, along with her brother and parents, bashed up her husband as the man had failed to wish her on their wedding anniversary in the month of February.
The Police said that the man had missed his anniversary, and the angry wife called up her parents and brother to her matrimonial home to inform this. All of them together beat the man and mother broke his vehicle. The Ghatkopar police have booked all the four accused.
According to the police, the victim, Vishal Nangre, 32, a driver in a courier company and his wife Kalpana, who works in a food outlet, both live in Baiganwadi, Govandi. The couple got married in 2018.
Now, the four have been booked for assault. A notice has been given to them and an inquiry into the matter will be done for taking appropriate legal actions against them. This was stated by Senior inspector Sanjay Dahake of the Ghatkopar police station.
