Man from Bengaluru wins Rs. 44 Crore lottery, says ‘Thought it was a prank, blocked the number’

After receiving the call from Big Ticket, he assumed it was fake or a prank. Apparently, he disconnected the line and blocked that number and later received a call from a different number.

Reportedly, a Bengaluru man became a millionaire with a shocking lottery win. However, he was not able to believe the news and even thought it was a prank. The man named Arun Kumar Vatakke Koroth from the tech capital of India hit the jackpot at the Big Ticket’s draw series number 250 held in Abu Dhabi. He luckily won Rs 44.7 crore with the ticket he had purchased online on March 22.

But after receiving the call from Big Ticket, he assumed it was fake or a prank. Apparently, he disconnected the line and blocked that number and later received a call from a different number.

As soon as he came to know of Big Ticket draws from his friends, he started buying tickets online. He bought his second lottery ticket through the website on March 22 and unexpectedly, he bagged the grand prize. In the future, he hopes to start a business with prize money.
