In Durg district of Chattisgarh, a high-speed rollover reignited the ‘Mahindra Thar vs Tata Nano’ debate among car enthusiasts. Recently, a viral video showed the SUV lying overturned as a result of the collision.
The town Inspector reported to India Today that around 12.30 pm, an accident had taken place between a Tata Nano and a Thar near the Padmanapur mini stadium under the Padmanabhpur police station. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Apparently, the Thar driver was crossing an intersection at high speed when her SUV got T-boned by a Nano car before overturning.
The aftermath was documented by videos and photos. This incident has flipped the ‘Thar vs Nano’ debate, with self-styled automotive experts who now wish to re-evaluate necessary parameters like safety and ground clearance. Further, some customers are planning to reconsider their decision of buying a Thar.
