Indian Oil gets into matchmaking — for its employees

Indian Oil Company fuels love with its' matchmaking intiative being compared to Sima Aunty from the famous Netflix series Indian Match-making.

It is well know that many organizations in India do not allow a couple to work together. In such a scenario, the couple is made to adhere to organizational protocols. But this is not the case with the Indian Oil Company as recently, it launched an in-house matchmaking platform . The aim is to encourage employees to find their partners in the organization itself.

This initiative became a success after the company found out that its’ employees Seema Yadav and Tarun Bansal found a life partner in each other. Apparently, they are the first IndianOil couple to find love through ‘IOCians2gether’ platform that aims to create work & life partnerships within the company.

Later, the chairman congratulated them. Further, this initiative is being compared to Sima Taparia, popularly known as Sima aunty who became famous after the airing of Netflix’s series ‘Indian Matchmaking’, in which she tries to bring together single men and women for marriage.
