Usually around the world, relocating to a new city and hunting for a rented apartment can be a tiresome task for many. If one is in Bengaluru, one must also clear a tenant interview before the owner rents out the property to you. Considering the same, a man took wrote on linkedIn recently how he failed to clear a tenant interview in Bengaluru.
The man’s name is Ripu Daman Bhadoria who works at Google as an Engineering Manager. He shared that in 2022, when he relocated back to Bangalore from Seattle, he had searched for a decent place to rent.
Apparently, it was extremely difficult due to the high demand post-COVID. Given the demand, many apartment owners started interviewing prospective tenants. He was caught off guard as he miserably failed his first-ever tenant interview. Further, he added that it was a moment of awakening for him when he realized that there are harder interviews to clear than with the Google.
The landlords were transparent in sharing feedbacks as asked by this man and later mentioned that he successfully cleared the next tenant interview in Bengaluru. This post has gathered close to 9,000 reactions on linkedIn and numerous reposts.
